Laminate Flooring|Unique Surface Technology
Evolution laminate flooring utilises the latest in flooring surface technologies to produce laminate flooring of unprecedented depth and realism.
Liquid Overlay —Available in Evolution 12mm Australian Select Laminate Flooring
When trying to replicate a natural surface like polished hardwood, clarity of the surface finish is of the utmost importance. Real timber floors do not lose opacity when viewed at different angles. Evolution laminate flooring use the most technically advanced liquid overlay solution available. When observed from any viewing angle, the clarity of our rich and vibrant designs are not obstructed by the overlay finish. There is no milky overtones which obstruct the opacity of the finish which is common to cheaper laminate flooring overlay finishes , used to reduce manufacturing costs. Our superior finish is another reason why our laminate floors achieve such an amazingly natural look when compared to real hardwood floors. The surface of Evolution laminate flooring is also impregnated with aluminium oxide to provide extra protection to your floors. In fact they are at least 5 x harder to scratch than traditional flooring lacquers.
Eir Embossed in Register – Available in 12mm Grand Provincial Oak
Eir is the latest technology in laminate flooring where we perfectly match the surface embossing of the laminate floor to the wood design under the surface. This produces a surface finish that is identical to real wood.
Eir gives real depth to the laminate flooring surface and is perfectly suited to brushed European Oak designs where knots and brush marks are highly sort after (are the highlights of the wooden surface).
How is EiR Produced For Laminate Flooring
Timber is scanned using the latest in 3d mapping technology. The scan is used to produce a software file that is transferred to a CNC etching tool that minutely machines the exact copy of the wooden surface into a press plate of polished steel . Once completed the new press plate is attached to a melamine press and, under immense heat and pressure, the plate is pressed into the laminate flooring surface leaving a grain topography that is identical to the visual wood design layer.
